Thigh and Buttock Liposuction in Before-and-After Photos
Liposuction is a cosmetic surgery that removes the fat layer between the skin and muscle in a balanced way and leaves an even layer behind to create a beautiful body shape. It cannot correct the shape of the bones or muscles, so you should approach surgery with realistic expectations.
Many people picture thigh liposuction as treating only the outer and inner thighs, but there are surprisingly many things to consider.
When the thigh is treated circumferentially, all 360 degrees, there is more bruising and swelling after surgery, but the overall line can be shaped, so the thigh is less likely to lose its shape even if your weight changes later. The thighs and buttocks need to be made into sizes that suit each other. Some people have relatively large buttocks and others relatively large thighs, so the body often looks out of balance. During liposuction, we treat each area in proportion to the other to create a harmonious shape.
To describe the buttocks in more detail, there are many different shapes — no crease underneath, a crease that droops downward, buttocks that sag as a whole, flat buttocks without volume, buttocks that are too large and protruding, and so on. Whether by removing fat or, on the contrary, injecting fat, creating balanced, full, feminine buttocks that do not sag is also an important consideration in thigh liposuction.
What are the key points to look for in Venus Clinic's thigh liposuction?
1. Harmony of the overall contour. The thighs, buttocks, and knees — and the abdomen above and the calves below — look proportionate to one another in size. The outer buttocks have become neater and the buttock crease now faces upward, so a so-called "hip-up" result has been achieved.
2. A distinctly feminine line. In women, the line from the pelvis to the thigh forms a rounded shape, the buttocks do not sag, there is a slight gap between the inner thighs, and the leg continues in a straight line down to the calf. The saddlebag shape on the outer thigh has also changed from drooping to lifted. Removing too much fat from the saddlebag area can lead to a depression and a straight line, losing the soft, rounded line characteristic of women.
Although it is a subtle detail, the loose tissue above the kneecap has also been smoothed, and by straightening the inner line from the inner knee to the calf, a bow-legged look of the calves is reduced and the legs look longer.
3. We aim for a substantial reduction in size while leaving an even fat layer, pursuing a smooth line with minimal surface irregularity. The upper inner thigh and the front of the thigh in particular should look smooth.
4. Incision scars are hard to notice after surgery. Each thigh is treated through a total of 3 incisions — in the groin crease, the crease under the buttock, and the crease on the inner knee — so incision scars are generally inconspicuous after surgery.
