Special Liposuction - Breast liposuction for big breasts reduction

; Venus Clinic undergoes liposuction with micro cannula for breast reduction or breast volume up liposuction. It does not only reduce size of breast, but also fixes breast to have volume.

Breast Liposuction

If the breast are bigger than average, it causes neck, back, or shoulder ach and tiredness; also there could be a skin trouble below the breast.

Also, daily life or working out is limited and it is hard to pick fitted clothes. There is an excision surgery for breast reduction, nowadays through many thesis, it is proved that liposuction is effective and satisfaction of liposuction is over 90%.

A breast excision surgery can reduce as much as patient wants, but it lefts scars and has high rate of complications which make patients to hesistate.

1. Advantages of breast reduction liposuction

• First, it is not excision surgery, so no need to worry about complications.
• Second, less pain and no problem going back to normal life after the operation with short recover time.
• Third, there is not damage of mammary line; this is a big advantage for woman with the baby plan or unmarried woman.
• Fourth, breast reduction liposuction keeps patient’s own breast shape, so it reduces with natural look without any shape change.
• Fifth, reasonable cost compare to other excision surgeries ^^;
• Sixth, no damage to mammary line so not uncomfortable to have a body checkup such as breast cancer. Etc..

2. Size reduction reported through thesis are

• Klein, 2000 : 30 - 50%
• Gray, 2001 : 2 cup sizes
• Di Giuseppe, 2003 : 3 cup sizes
• Habbema, 2009 : 51% , 43%

There is a disadvantage that breast size does not reduce over 50%, but it is enough reducing amount and it gives about 91-99% satisfaction to patients.

It depends on patients, but usually obesity patients have more effect due to more fat. There is about 40% volume reduction on average at our Venus Clinic.

If the volume is measured 1000 cc, about 400cc of fat can be removed.

3. Operation method

Like a picture below, we measure the volume of breast before the breast reduction liposuction. The reason of the measurement is to determine the amount and volume of suction and to fix the unbalance breasts size.

If one side of breast’s volume was 1200ml, amount of removal fat will be 40%, so about 480ml will be removed. So on the other side, liposuction will undergone with fats excluding left over fat, 720ml which will give a same size on both breast. Using this, unbalanced breast can be fixed through breast reduction liposuction.

We inject local anesthesia fluids through about 5mm excision of wrinkle of axilla and lower breast; there will be almost no pain, and only yellow fat can be removed without hemorrhage.

We remove fat using micro cannula which has about 2-2.5mm of diameter. Venus Clinic does handmade micro liposuction which gives natural and smooth look after the operation.

Patient can feel a little pain when we inject local anesthesia fluids. If the patient wants, we can do conscious sedation for comfortable operation.

One thing that patients worry the most about breast reduction is that breast losing elasticity. After the liposuction, volume reduces and there is a left over skin. This skin contracts after the liposuction and makes breast to go up like the picture below.

So breast liposuction gives not only to those people with saggy breast due to weight loss, but also for old women’s saggy breasts..

The picture below is about 4 weeks after the breast reduction liposuction. After the liposuction, the shape of breast is natural and not saggy. We did mosaic effect, but size of nipples decreased and overall size will decrease more.
