Breast Reduction Liposuction
The breasts may well be the symbol of feminine beauty. Beautiful breasts are neither too large nor too small, firm, and not sagging.
However, many women are actually uncomfortable because their breasts are too large. In such cases, the weight of the breasts causes shoulder pain, limits activity, and brings considerable emotional stress. The weight of the breasts also changes posture, leading to pain from chronic degenerative changes in the neck, shoulders, and back. Bra straps leave marks or cause skin problems, and even expensive clothes do not fit well.
Liposuction is an effective option for relieving this discomfort.
Breast liposuction in women is an effective way to reduce breast size under partial anesthesia, with minimal visible scarring, using a special small tube (2 mm in diameter) called a micro-cannula. Post-operative pain is usually mild and recovery is quick, so returning to daily life is easy. Removing 30–50% of the fat from the breast generally causes few after-effects, and daily activities are usually possible within 2–3 days.
Conventional breast reduction surgery for very large breasts has the drawbacks of a long operation under general anesthesia, post-operative pain, surgical scars, and a long recovery period, but with breast liposuction, the breast becomes smaller by the amount of fat removed, the function of the ligaments that hold the breast's shape can recover, so sagging improves, and the nipple and the lower breast line also move upward — these are its advantages.
In addition, because it generally does not damage the mammary glands, breastfeeding is usually still possible after surgery, which makes it especially suitable for young women. However, breast reduction using liposuction is not suitable for extremely large breasts that need to be reduced by more than 50%, or for correcting breasts that sag and droop too much.
Perhaps now is the time to consider it, for light and cheerful outings on warm spring days.
